Verdikjede og produksjon: We invest a lot of time and effort into our choice of material. If we cannot find materials that live up to our high demands on comfort, function and the environment, we will develop a new material in collaboration with our suppliers. Otherwise we simply won’t produce the product. We never strive for exclusive rights on a material since we believe that the more companies using functional and environmental materials, the better.

In addition, the production in EU ensures EU social and environmental standards apply, legal requirements and government control functions are in place, meaning our sustainability efforts are at a high level even at baseline.

Material: Fabrics are sourced mainly from Japan, Taiwan and Italy. This enables Houdini to provide the highest quality and best practice while also maintaining the highest environmental, social and ethical standards.

Shipping: Manufacturing at Houdini mainly takes place at selected and specialized European manufacturing partners in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. This manufacturing network close to our global distribution center in Sweden (which could be considered “local” in a textile supply chain perspective) enables us to have a lean set-up with tight collaboration and an efficient way of working, meeting and shipping.

Muligheter for reparasjon: Long lasting products is at the heart of the Houdini design philosophy. If any part of your garment breaks before the garment itself is worn out, we will repair it for you free of charge.

Above and Beyond: Have history of working closely with fabric manufacturers to create innovative and sustainable options.
